Most people assume that if they are ever in a car accident and their vehicle is totaled, they will receive its fair market value. However, car owners who deal with State Farm Auto Insurance and other carriers may not necessarily receive what their vehicle's really worth. Some car owners are now investigating the possibility of a lawsuit against State Farm and other carriers based on their unfair valuation methods.

Property damage is one component in any personal injury claim. Just like with the bodily injury component, it's important for injured persons with property damage to have competent counsel to make sure they are treated fairly by not only the adverse insurance company but also their own carrier.
