A husband and wife were walking their dog around 6 a.m. on April 12 in Federal Way. They were crossing S. 312th Street at 14th Avenue S. when a car traveling westbound on S. 312th struck the man and dog while in the crosswalk. The husband suffered head injuries and was flown to Harborview Medical Center. The dog was taken to a local animal hospital with injuries. The wife and the driver of the car were not injured.

According to Washington state statute, pedestrians have the right of way. Therefore, those injured should contact a personal injury attorney right away to discuss their options and preserve their claims. For more information, please see: Man suffers head injuries, dog injured after getting hit.
