A 22 year old Seattle man suffered life-threatening injuries on Friday night when he was struck by a Honda near the Northgate Mall. The victim had stepped into a crosswalk at the intersection of First Avenue Northeast and Northeast 103rd Street when the accident occurred. There was no crossing signal at the intersection but police investigating the accident indicated that the pedestrian had the right of way.
