A collision last Sunday between a Ford Explorer and a small sedan seriously injured both vehicles' drivers and the lone passenger. The accident occurred at the intersection of Puget Park Drive and 138th Place SE in Everett. Preliminary reports indicate that one of the vehicles had been speeding.

The Explorer sustained serious damage in the collision and emergency personnel had to cut the vehicle apart to extricate the driver. Both drivers and the passenger received medical treatment at Providence Medical Center.

While evidence of speeding may be introduced in a civil lawsuit, speeding alone is not a bar to recovery for injured parties. Both drivers and the passenger should contact a personal injury attorney to discuss their rights.
