On February 11 at approximately 3:30 a.m., a Saab sedan went out of control on Bainbridge Island on Sportsman Club Road, left the road and struck a tree. The three teens in the vehicle were airlifted to Harborview Medical Center with critical injuries. Police suspect alcohol and high speed contributed to the accident.

The passengers injured in the accident may have a claim against the driver of the car. Although they may be friends with the driver, these types of accidents are the reason for insurance. When someone they care about is hurt, insurance can provide funds to pay for their medical care. In addition to claims against the driver, the teens may have a claim against the person who gave or sold them alcohol. The teens should contact a personal injury attorney to preserve their rights and discuss their options.
