Woman Killed in Accident on Viaduct

On Monday, January 2, 2006 Lyndsy Sansaver died after being thrown from the back seat of a blue Toyota that was involved in a single car accident on the Alaskan Way Viaduct in Seattle. Ms. Sansaver was 16 years old. The accident occurred at approximately 1:00 a.m. and closed northbound lanes on the viaduct for over five hours.

Police investigating the accident stated that the driver of the Toyota was speeding and ran into both sides of the viaduct. The driver and a female passenger sitting in the front seat sustained minor injuries. Police are investigating the driver for being under the influence of alcohol.

Ms. Sansaver's family has a cause of action against the driver of the Toyota. They can sue her personally and recover compensation under her underinsured motorist policy.
